Long Description: I spent several weeks photographing along the Columbia River in Washington and Oregon. This is a magnificent area. I was staying with friends in White Salmon, Washington. This apple orchard was across the street from their home and I had wanted to catch the sun setting over the river there. After several days of light rain I finally got cooperative weather and a most pleasant sunset.
